Introduction to common safety protection devices of lifting machinery

in order to ensure the safety and reliability of lifting operation, the crane is equipped with relatively perfect safety devices, so as to protect the machine parts or remind the operators to pay attention in case of accidents, so as to play a role of safety protection

1. Overflow valves in the hydraulic system: it can suppress the abnormal high pressure in the circuit to prevent damage to the hydraulic oil pump and motor, and prevent them from being in an overload state

2. Boom luffing safety device: when an accident occurs and the high-pressure hose or oil pipe in the boom luffing cylinder circuit bursts or is cut off, the balance valve in the hydraulic circuit will work to lock the working oil from the lower chamber of the cylinder, so that the boom will not fall, so as to ensure the safety of operation

3. Boom telescopic safety device: when an accident occurs and the high-pressure hose or oil pipe in the boom telescopic cylinder circuit bursts or is cut off, the balance valve in the hydraulic circuit will work to lock the working oil from the lower chamber of the cylinder, so that the crane will retract itself, so as to ensure the safety of operation

4. Height limit device: after the hook is lifted to the specified height, touch the limit weight, turn on the travel switch, and the over winding indicator light will be on. At the same time, cut off the hook lifting, boom extension, boom crouching and other actions to ensure safety. At this time, as long as the handle such as lowering the hook, retracting the boom or lifting the boom (i.e. operating to the safe side) is operated, the limit weight is released, and the operation will return to normal. On special occasions, if a small amount of over winding operation is still required, press the release button on the instrument box, and the function of the limit will be relieved at this time, but the operation at this time must be very careful to prevent accidents

5. Outrigger locking device: when an accident occurs and the high-pressure hose or oil pipe leading to the outrigger vertical cylinder is broken or cut, the two-way hydraulic lock in the second series of hydraulic system can block the outrigger and block the pressure oil in the two cavities of the cylinder, so that the outrigger does not shrink or throw out, so as to ensure the safety of lifting operation

6. Lifting weight indicator: the lifting weight indicator is set on the closing side of the basic boom (i.e. the right side of the control room), which can be clearly observed by the operator sitting in the control room, and can accurately indicate the elevation angle of the boom and the allowable rated lifting weight of the crane under the corresponding working conditions

7. Lifting characteristics table: set on the front lower wall panel of the control and high-speed and high-frequency positioning function room. This table lists the rated lifting capacity and lifting height under various arm lengths and operating ranges for easy reference during operation. During lifting operation, it is not allowed to exceed the value specified in the table that at least 79000 tons of plastic are piled up from the layers of exterior wall insulation materials
